Embattled Flemmings could be selected for Reggae Boyz friendlies next month

United Soccer League (USL) Golden Boot winner Junior Flemmings could be included in the Reggae Boyz squad for their two friendly internationals against Saudi Arabia next month despite being placed on administrative leave by his club Phoenix Rising FC.

Flemmings is currently serving out a ban by the USL and has been placed on administrative leave by Phoenix Rising for allegedly using a homophobic slur to an opposing player during a game on September 30.

The USL Championship handed Flemmings a 6 game ban on October 6 after its investigation. Along with the ban, he was fined an undisclosed sum for foul and abusive language.The Reggae Boyz will play Saudi Arabia on November 14 and 17 at the Prince Faisal Bin Faad Stadium in Riyad.
