English Championship stars, forward Ivan Toney and defender Max Aarons will reportedly reject the approach by the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) to represent Jamaica, as they believe they can achieve England call-ups.
Toney and Aarons have been two of the standout players in the English Championship this season and have been key figures in Brentford and Norwich City's promotion bids and are among a host of English-born players reportedly being pursued by the JFF to represent the Reggae Boyz.
According to the UK Daily Mail, the JFF will no longer be pursuing Toney and Aarons with both players determined to break into the England fold.
Both Toney and Aarons, who were born in England, have not played a competitive match for the “Three Lions” at senior level and would still be eligible to play for Jamaica because of family ties to the Caribbean country.
