7-5 overnight favourite Formal Fashion is looking for her first win since April in the feature, The Miracle Cure Sprint, a Restricted Allowance 2 contest at Caymanas Park on Saturday. Formal Fashion finished third in her last three races going over the five straight course, five and a half furlongs and five furlongs round, respectively. The 3 year old chestnut filly will be going five and a half furlongs once again.
However, she'll be doing this trip with the blinkers off. Trained by Patrick "Wacky" Lynch and to be ridden by apprentice Daniel Satchell, the speedy Formal Fashion has little to fear from her six opponents having worked well since her last race on August 10. The 7 horse field is set to face the starter at 2:35 p.m.
Meanwhile, the Wayne DaCosta-conditioned Run Thatcher Run will be running his second race since coming off a four month lay-up and is the 9-5 ante-post favourite to land the non-restricted Overnight Allowance contest also going five and a half furlongs.
The chestnut colt, who has the likes of stablemates Mr Universe and Lottery Ticket for company, will be hoping to go one better than he did on August 10.
