Former NJ boss urges current administration to push for more prominence

Voice of former Netball Jamaica president Marva Bernard

Former Netball Jamaica president and president of the Americas Federation of Netball Associations Marva Bernard is urging the current administration for the local governing body to be more receptive to the media in its push for more recognition, despite the covid-19 pandemic.

Bernard who was speaking on Hitz 92 FM’s Sports Grill on Thursday, said regardless of the circumstances, netball jamaica should present itself to the mass consistently.

Bernard has also suggested that the Tricia Robinson-led Netball Jamaica should be considering greater transparency to attract corporate entities in the long run. She served as president of the local governing body from 2005 - 2015.
