Fowler and Sterling headline Sunshine Girls squad for tri-series

World-rated goal shooter Jhaniele Fowler and top defender Shamera Sterling headline the Sunshine Girls 16-member squad confirmed for an international tri-series to be held at the National Indoor Sports Centre in October. The series which will also involve South Africa and Trinidad and Tobago was launched on Friday.

The series will mark the Sunshine Girls’ return to competitive action for the first time since January 2020. Matches will be played behind closed doors on October 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 21 and 23.

The series will also be held in honour of Margaret Beckford, Netball Jamaica's first president.
