5-time world 100m champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce says she is not disappointed despite not winning the World Athletics Female Athlete of the Year Award.

Fraser-Pryce was nominated on the back of winning the 100m event for a record extending fifth time, becoming the Diamond League 100m champion as well as running a world- leading 10.62 seconds and logging a record seven sub 10.70 second clockings for the season.

400m hurdles world champion and world record holder Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone won the award.

The 35 year old Fraser-Pryce who won the award in 2013, says notching another such accolade will not be the motivation for the upcoming season.
