GC Foster College aiming to be at the forefront for the return of sporting activities

Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Karen Madden

Maurice Wilson, the principal of GC Foster College, the region's largest sports college, has joined sentiments that the facility should be one of those at the forefront of the return of sports to the country, despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Wilson has also pointed to the critical need for athletes and others to remain physically active.

Sporting bodies have failed to obtain permission to host events, even though the government announced on February 5 that approvals would be granted on a case by case basis under the Disaster Risk Management Act.
