Holder rules himself out of future Windies captaincy

Voice of former West Indies captain Jason Holder

After spending five years as captain of the West Indies test team, Jason Holder says he would not consider the position for the remainder of his playing career.

The 30 year old who was relieved from the post at the start of 2021, says he has changed his mentality having returned to the team as a regular playing member.

Holder added that he did not understand the magnitude of the role when he took up the opportunity from former chairman of selectors Clive Lloyd.
