ISSA concerned about crime and violence at matches

Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Jordan Forte

ISSA president Keith Wellington says the association is keeping a close eye on recent acts of crime and violence at football matches as the schoolboy football season continues.

A recent shooting incident at a football match at Spring Village in St Catherine which left three persons dead has caught national attention.

Though completely unrelated to the ISSA competitions, Wellington says the incident has forced them to take notice.
