Jackson to open 2023 season at Queen's Grace Jackson meet

World champion Shericka Jackson is among the top names expected to compete at the 21st staging of the Queen's Grace Jackson Invitational track meet at the National Stadium on Saturday.

Jackson along with 5-time Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah are set to contest the 60 metres.

Back to back world Under-20 sprint champion Tina Clayton and her twin sister and world Under-20 sprint relay gold medallist and record holder Tia are also set to be in action in the 200 metres at the meet.

Over 2300 athletes are expected to compete at the meet which will feature events from 200 to 800 metres as well as the sprint hurdles and 4 by 400 metres. All track events will be timed finals.

In the field there will also be the discus throw, high jump, shot put, triple and long jump events.
