JFF optimistic about restart of Premier League before year's end

Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Kayon Raynor

There's still no clearance for this season's Premier League start but according to Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) president Michael Ricketts, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

JFF officials finally met with Health Minister Dr Christopher Tufton on Tuesday as they seek the green light for the start of the league on November 14.

Most of what was included in the JFF protocol document for the Premier League re-start found favour with Minister Tufton.

JFF president Michael Ricketts is hopeful that with the adjustment, the reply can come in a feasible time for a kick off this year.

And there is good news for Waterhouse, who will play their CONCACAF Club Championship game on November 5 at the National Stadium, as they have been given the greenlight. Training at the national and club levels were also approved.
