JOA boss congratulates gymnast on Olympic qualification

Jamaica Olympic Association (JOA) president Christopher Samuda has lauded gymnast Danusia Francis following her historic qualification for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. According to Samuda, Francis' qualification is as a result of her commitment, resolve, grit and determination as well as her pride in country and self-confidence.

History will repeat itself at next year's Olympic Games as Francis has given the nation its first official qualification in artistic gymnastics. Last weekend, Francis claimed a berth at the 2020 Games after competing at the World Gymnastics Championships in Stuttgart, Germany.
