Johnson moves from Phoenix to Louisville in USL

Former national player Jason Johnson has ended his three year spell with Pheonix Rising FC and has joined two time USL champions Louisville City FC on a two year deal.

The 29 year old forward now joins countryman Devon Williams at the Kentucky-based club.

This is Johnson's sixth club of his professional career after previously playing for the Houston Dynamo, Pittsburgh Riverhounds, Chicago Fire, San Antonio FC and Pheonix Rising FC.

The former Manchester High student will wear the number 77 jersey.

Johnson has scored 27 goals in 110 appearances in the United Soccer League.
