Lloyd says Hope should have been taken on New Zealand tour

Voice of former West Indies captain Sir Clive Lloyd

Former West Indies captain and legend, Sir Clive Lloyd says the selectors and coaching staff missed the opportunity to give the recently omitted Shai Hope a chance to rediscover his batting form by carrrying him to New Zealand.

A West Indies "A" team is set to play two unoffcial four day matches against their New Zealand counterparts and Lloyd thinks Hope could have benefitted from this venture.

Lloyd also pointed out that the highly-rated batsman should put away the T20 version of the game at this point to regain his red ball form.
