Lowe signs with MLS outfit Inter Miami

Reggae Boyz defender Damion Lowe has signed for Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit Inter Miami on a two year deal.

The 28 year old defender who passed the medical on Saturday, has the option of extending his deal a further year until the end of 2024.

Lowe who parted ways with Egyptian Premier Division side  Al-Ittihad Alexandria earlier this month, will be the second Jamaican international to play with Inter Miami after Alvas Powell suited up for the Florida- based club in 2020.

Inter Miami is owned by former England, Manchester United and Real Madrid legend David Beckham and coached by Phil Neville.

Lowe will now return to Jamaica for a camp ahead of the friendly international with Peru on Thursday in Lima.

Inter Miami is the second MLS franchise Lowe is signing for after being drafted by the Seattle Sounders in 2014.
