West Indies women's vice-captain Hayley Matthews says although she's just 52 runs away from one-thousand and four wickets short of 50 scalps, her focus for the upcoming 5-match T20 series against England will be centred on helping the team win rather than personal milestones.
The 22-year-old opening batter has scored 948 runs in 50 matches with a top score of 107, while she has taken 46 wickets at an average of 18.26 runs.
With only six days remaining before the series bowls off in the bio-secure facility, Matthews says the players are hoping that the time spent preparing in England will pay dividends against the hosts.
