Miami Heat cuts deficit in NBA finals

Despite his last seconds heroics in leading the Miami Heat to 111-108 win over the more fancied Los Angeles Lakers in game five of the NBA finals on Friday night and take the series into a sixth game, star player Jimmy Butler has hailed the efforts of his  team-mates.

The Lakers led by a point with 21.8 seconds left, before two foul shots by  Butler nudged the heat in front.

Danny Green also missed a late three-pointer to win the game for the Lakers, as the Heat kept the best-of-seven series alive at 3-2.

Butler led the way for Miami with  35 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists with  good support coming from Duncan Robinson who had 26 points and Kendrick Nunn 14 points

Lebron James scored a game high  40 points for the Lakers. Game six will take place in Orlando, Florida on Sunday.
