National representative Romaine Evans and former William Knibb student Tequan Goodwill are the recipients of scholarship from the Garnett Wright Golf Classic. The two will attend a Golf Academy in North Carolina.
22 year old Evans who is a product of the Sandals Foundation Golf Academy, has been representing Jamaica from the age of 10 at both junior and senior levels in the Caribbean Heorman Cup team. Evans' biggest moment came in 2015 when he was crowned Caribbean Under-17 singles champion.
18 year old Goodwill has been a student of the Selbert Walker Academy at Cinnamon Hill from age of 7. He’s yet to represent Jamaica, but is greatful for the opportunity to develop his skiils. Both Evans and Goodwill will take up their scholarships in May.
