PFJL to stick with use of centralized venues for upcoming JPL season

Voice of PFJL CEO Owen Hill

The Jamaica Premier League (JPL) will stick to the structure it used last season when centralized venues were utilized for some matches according to newly appointed Professional Football Jamaica Limited (PFJL) CEO Owen Hill.

Hill says the quality of the venues for television broadcast purposes, among other factors, will continue to play a role in selecting venues for the upcoming season.

However, Hill is assuring fans of the teams that the community continues to be at the heart of the PFJL’s plans.

14 teams are set to participate in next season's JPL with Chapleton Maroons and Faulkland FC joining the 12 clubs from last season.

The teams will play each other twice in the regular season with the top 6 progressing to the playoffs.
