Powell leads Northern Warriors to victory in Abu Dhabi T10

Jamaican Rovman Powell produced a Player of the Match performance as the Northern Warriors recorded their first win in the Abu Dhabi T10 League on Sunday, beating the Bangla Tigers by 6 wickets.

Batting first, the Bangla Tgiers posted 117-4 from their 10 overs with Trinidadian Evin Lewis top scoring with 38.

Hazratullah Zazai was next best with 37. Isuru Udana took 2-21.

In their run chase, the Warriors were 29-2 after the dismissal of Jamaican Kennar Lewis for 8. 

Powell then led his team to victory at 118-4 after top scoring with 76 from 28 balls. His innings consisted of 1 four and 9 sixes as Sherfane Rutherford supported with 22.

Shakib al Hasan ended with 2-20.
