Pryce back home after recovering from broken leg at Penn Relays

Outstanding national junior representative and outgoing Holmwood Technical senior athlete Samantha Pryce is back home after spending the last two months in the United States, recovering from a broken leg and subsequent surgery.

The 19 year old Pryce sustained the injury while representing Holmwood Technical at this year's Penn Relays in Philadelphia back in April.

Pryce fell after clipping heels with another athlete as she was about to finish the first leg of the Championship of America girls 4x800 metres.

Pryce who won the 2000 metres steeplechase open and the 3000 metres open at this year's Boys and Girls Championships and the Under-20 3000 metres at the Carifta Games in April, is now slated to take up a track and field scholarship in January. She will choose from a list of three US colleges.
