Ramgeet and Henry win on North American circuit

Former Jamaican champion jockeys Andrew Ramgeet and Wesley "Callaloo" Henry were in the winner's enclosure on the North American circuit on Wednesday.

Ramgeet landed the first two events on the 8 race programme at the Mountaineer Race Track in West Virginia.

He made all the running aboard the 7-1 chance Team Hot Line owned and trained by his wife Tina, going a mile on the dirt.

He then closed his double when he brought the 1-2 favourite Blue Rockette from off the pace to win the second event over 5 furlongs round also on the dirt.

Meanwhile, Henry who resumed competitive riding this past summer, rode his first winner of the season after guiding home the 34-1 upsetter Shakem N Breakem in the third event over a mile and 40 yards on the dirt at Tampa Bay Downs in Florida.
