Reggae Boy Blake and Philadelphia Union eliminated from MLS Cup

Reggae Boyz goalkeeper Andre Blake was beaten twice as his Philadelphia Union team was eliminated from the Major League Soccer Cup at the semi-final stage by Portland Timbers on Wednesday night in the MLS is Back tournament in Orlando.

The 2-1 scoreline was Portland Timbers' fifth straight win over Philadelphia Union in the MLS. 

Having conceded three goals in each of their previous three meetings, Philadelphia Union entered Wednesday's game on a run of six games unbeaten.

However, it took only 13 minutes for Blake to be beaten as Jeremy Ebobisse opened the scoring for Portland.

It took 57 minutes for the second goal, as Sebastian Blanco made it 2-0 in the 70th. Andrew Wooten pulled one back for Philadelphia 10 minutes from time, but Portland held on for the win and a place in Tuesday's final.
