Reggae Boy Damion Lowe leaves his Norwegian club

Reggae Boyz defender Damion Lowe has cited personal reasons for his departure from Norwegian top flight club IK Start which he says was by mutual consent. Lowe who joined IK Start in 2017 from the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the United Soccer League in the United States, announced his departure on his instagram page where he thanked the club and fans.

Lowe helped the club finish 3rd in the 2018-2019 season to gain promotion to the Norwegian professional league has left the club before his 3 year contract expires in December this year. But speaking with Radio Jamaica Sports, the 27 year old said he has left the club on amicable terms noting the Covid crisis might have played a part.

Lowe who made 50 appearances for IK Start scoring 2 goals says although he's yet to decide his next move, he wants to continue his career in Europe.
