Reggae Boy Ravel Morrison remains without a club after English Championship club Sheffield Wednesday decided not to offer him a short-term deal until the end of the season following a trial stint with the club.
The 28-year-old English-born playmaker spent time at Middlewood prior to and during the international break.
The former Manchester United youth star has been a free agent since mutually agreeing to leave Dutch Eredivisie side Ado Den Haag in January.
But although not offering Morrison a deal so late in the season, Sheffield Wednesday manager and former Reggae Boy Darren Moore says he is not ruling out a possible return for the midfielder at a later date.
The much-travelleld Morrison has so far played for 12 clubs professionally including West Ham United, Lazio, Queen’s Park Rangers and Middlesbrough.
