Reggae Boyz World Cup campaign takes another dent

The Reggae Boyz CONCACAF World Cup qualifying campaign took another serious dent on Friday night when they gave up a 1-0 lead to draw 1-1- with El Salvador in San Salvador.

Substitute Michail Antonio gave the Reggae Boyz the lead in the 82nd minute, but the home team earned a share of the points courtesy of captain Alex Roldon who headed home in the 90th minute.

Both Jamaica and El Salvador are now on 6 points each from 7 games with only Honduras below them at the foot of the standings on 3 points.

Jamaica’s next game will be against the United States at the National Stadium on Tuesday.

Elsewhere on Friday night, Panama came from 2-0 down with 15 minutes to go to beat Honduras 3-2 in San Pedro Sula.
