Reggae Girl Gordon leads Cavalier to big victory in JFF WPL

Fresh from her stint with the Reggae Girlz, Rena Gordon's four timer, led Cavalier to a 10-2 win over Northern Queens in a rescheduled game in the JFF Women's Premier League. Gordon, who featured in the just concluded Caribbean first round of the CONCACAF Olympic Qualifiers, scored her first in only the 5th minute before two quick fire goals in the 30th and 31st minutes.

Her fourth goal came in the 90th minute. Tianna Beswick scored a double on the day with her first coming in the 7th before scoring again in the 42nd minute. The other goals came from Rhonda Rhooms, Shanice Irons, Chrisann Roberts and Taevia Collins. Heavy rain again forced the abandonment of the encounter between defending champions Waterhouse and Olympic Gardens scheduled for Cling Cling Oval. The league continues on Saturday.
