Reggae Girl Silver signs fort NWSL team

Reggae Girl Lauren Silver has signed with the Houston Dash in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) in the United States until the end of the season. The 27 year old defender will wear the number 15 jersey and joins fellow Reggae Girl Kayla McCoy at the Texas-based club.

The Dash is also home to Canadian international Nichelle Prince who was born to Jamaican parents.

The fall series of the NWSL is currently underway and will conclude in November. Silver was a member of Jamaica's squad at the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in France and played in their group stage encounter versus Italy.

Since making her debut for the Reggae Girlz in 2014, Silver has gone on to make 24 appearances and scored one goal in the process.
