Reggae Girlz goalkeeper drafted to play in NWSL

Reggae Girlz goalkeeper Sydney Schneider has been drafted to play in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) in the united states.

The 21 year old who spent the last four years at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, was selected by the Washington Spirits as the 9th pick in the 3rd round of the draft on Wednesday.

Schneider was one of two goalkeepers drafted to the NWSL this season. Schneider will now be the 4th Jamaican international in the league alongside Konya Plummer, Havana Solaun and Cheyna Matthews.
