Sammy reaches out to senior Windies white ball players

Newly appointed coach of the West Indies white ball teams Daren Sammy is calling for patience from Caribbean fans during his tenure as he pledges to transform the fortunes of the regional team.

Sammy's first assignment will be overseeing the series against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in June before the ODI World Cup qualifiers in Zimbabwe.

Meanwhile, with constant questions about the availability of senior players, Sammy has already started a process to have their services in the future. He has already had discussions with Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Shimron Hetmyer and Evin Lewis.
