Scorpions' bowlers struggle on Day 1 against Red Force

The Jamaica Scorpions bowlers were made to sweat on day one of the first round of the regional 4-day competition as hosts Trinidad and Tobago Red Force reached 241-3 at stumps at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy on Thursday. Former West Indies Under-19 batsman Keagan Simmons led the way with 89, while Jeremy Solozano made 73.

Skipper Darren Bravo is unbeaten on 50. Derval Green, John Campbell and Rovman Powell all took a wicket each for the Scorpions.
