Small but competitive field for Caymanas Park feature

A small but competitive field of 10 will face the starter in Saturday's feature $2 million Reggae Trophy for 3 year old and up Open Allowance and Graded Stakes runners over 5 furlongs straight at Caymanas Park.

At least six of the runners in with very good chances. The six are Patriarch, King Arthur, Rojorn Di Pilot, Duke, Eeagle One and Salvation.

Jason DaCosta's 4 year old imported bay gelding Eagle One to be partnered by leading jockey and joint reigning champion Anthony Thomas is the 2-1 ante post favourite.

Despite not tasting victory since June 19, Eagle One has been moving well on the exercise track and a good effort is not out of the reckoning come Saturday.

Course specialist Salvation to be ridden by veteran jockey Oneil Mullings for 14-time former champion trainer Phillip Feanny is being offered 7-1 in the forecast odds. First post for the 10 race card is 11:00 am.
