Trainer Anthony “Baba” Nunes' 2019 Triple Crown winner Supreme Soul, who spent two months in quarantine in the United States, showed his class on Saturday as he got back to winning ways at Caymanas Park, 5 months after returning to Jamaica.
Supreme Soul, the second time out this season, landed the non-restricted Overnight Allowance contest going over 9 furlongs and 25 yards in exciting fashion.
The 4 year old chestnut colt won by a neck in one minute 56 and two fifths, and his connections say he had to have had the will to want to win.
Acting Senior JRC Veterinarian, Dr Sophia Ramlal, said Supreme Soul's" win is as much a health victory as it is a victory on the track.
