West Indies women's captain, Jamaica's Stafanie Taylor has re-signed with the Adelaide Strikers for the 2020 season of the Women’s Big Bash League (wbbl) in Australia.
The 29 year old who will be spending her second season with the franchise, is already in Adelaide completing two weeks of hotel quarantine before she joins her teammates for the journey to Sydney, which will serve as the base for the entire tournament.
Taylor has been involved in the BBL since its inception in 2015. She played the first four seasons of the league with the Sydney Thunder. The 2020 season of the WBBL is set to run from October 25 to November 29.
Hayley Matthews is the other West Indian player in the league this year and she will be spending her sixth season with the Hobart Hurricanes.
The Brisbane Heat are the defending champions of the league after defeating Taylor's Adelaide Strikers in the final by six wickets last year.
