Tivoli High improve Group "B" standing in Manning Cup

Tivoli Gardens High moved up a spot to second in Group "B" of the ISSA Manning Cup after outscoring Dunoon Technical 4-2 at the Stadium East Field.

After starting the day in third place, Tivoli Gardens improved their chances of a place in the quarter-finals with their third win of the campaign.

Excelsior, who started the day second, slipped to third after St Andrew Technical came from behind three times to share the points in 3-3.

STATHS ended the game with 10 players after Dexter Manning was ejected five minutes into the second half.

At the end of the game, Excelsior goalkeeper michael Clarke was taken to hospital following effects of a collision late into the contest.

In other matches, group leaders Camperdown edged Jonathan Grant 1-0, St Jago had a similar win over Jose Marti High and St Catherine High blanked Papine 3-0.
