Toona Ciliata faces Derby top two in Open Allowance/Graded Stakes contest

The island’s top rated horse, Toona Ciliata, to be ridden by Dane Nelson, is the 5-2 overnight favourite for the Open Allowance/Graded Stakes contest for three year olds and up going over seven and a half furlongs at Caymanas Park on Saturday. Toona Ciliata will face the likes of derby winner King Arthur and runner-up Nipster.

The rest of the field to face the starter at 4:10 p.m. includes  last year's Triple Crown winner Supreme Soul, 2018 St Leger winner Marquesas, Sentient, Summer Sun, Drummer Boy, Roy Rogers and Father Patrick. 10 races are on the card with first post at 11:30 am. Live racing coverage will be on Power 106 FM.
