Some horses at Caymanas Park may soon get an ease on the wear and tear on their bodies with another surface, alongside sand to race on.
Promoting Company Supreme Ventures Racing and Entertainment (SVREL) has announced plans for a turf track among the development initiatives for the park.
SVREL chairman Solomon says this project will cost approximately US $1 million with 2022 being eyed for implementation.
Santa Rosa Park in Trinidad is the only track in the Caribbean with turf and dirt tracks, while Garrison Savannah in Barbados has only turf.
