Under-20 Reggae Boyz go for World Cup berth

National Under-20 football coach Marcel Gayle says the team is fully ready for their quarter-final clash against the Dominican Republic in the CONCACAF Under-20 Championship in Honduras on Wednesday.

The Jamaicans got by 9-man Haiti 2-1 in the round of 16 to progress to the last eight and coach Gayle says they know what they will be up against versus the Dominican Republic.

Gayle added that the team will be at full strength despite a few minor knocks. A win would give Jamaica just their second Under-20 World Cup berth and their first since 2001. The game is slated to get underway at 6:00 pm Jamaican time.
