Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Denise Walters

Former champion jockey Omar Walker guided the 3-5 favourite Father Patrick to victory for trainer Ian Parsard in the Betting Gaming and Lotteries Commission Trophy, the feature event on Saturday's 10-race card at Caymanas Park.
Father Patrick made most of the running in the non-restricted Overnight Allowance contest over 5-and-a-half furlongs, coming home in a minute, five-and-three-fifths of a second.

Meanwhile, Dysfunctional, the 8-5 second choice under former champion jockey Anthony Thomas for trainer Fitznahum Williams, landed the Emancipation Day Trophy, an optional claiming $750,000 - $700,000  dollar contest over 6-and-a-half furlongs.

6-time former champion jockey Omar Walker highlighted the programme with a three-timer while there was a double for trainers Wayne DaCosta and Ian Parsard.

Racing continues on Thursday with the Independence Day programme.
