West Indies U19s lose again to England U19s

The West Indies Under 19s lost by a narrow one wicket to England Under 19s via the Duckworth Lewis method in the 5th match of their one day series in Canterbury on Tuesday to now trail 4-1 in the six match series

The West Indies Under-19s  sent to bat, were first dismissed for 166 in 41 overs in the match which was reduced to 43 overs a side.

Matthew Nandu top scored with 51 for the Caribbean youth team, while captain Giovonte Depeiza got 34 and Ackeem Aguste 31.

Joshua Boyden, Nathan Barnwell and Fateh Singh took two wickets each for the English youth team.

In reply, England Under 19s replied with 170-9 off 41 overs. George Bell top scored with an unbeaten 60, while James Cole made 31 and Rehan Ahmed 27.

Gordon returned to grab 3-37, Johann Layne 3-40 and Isai Thorne 2-41. The sixth and final match will be played on Friday.
