William Knibb Memorial and Cornwall College secured the automatic spots from Zone "A" of the ISSA DaCosta Cup and are now through to the quarter-final round.
The Trelawny-based William Knibb outscored Irwin 3-2 to book their place while many time champions Cornwall extended their stay with a comfortable 3-0 win over Maldon.
Herbert Morrison Technical managed to overtake Irwin for third spot with a 1-1 draw against St James High and are waiting to see if they are one of the best third placed teams.
Elsewhere, title holders Clarendon College kept up the race to leave the zone after outscoring Edwin Allen 5-3 to go back to the summit of Zone “E”.
Glenmuir, who will play Clarendon College on Monday in the final set of group playoff matches, are now second after a 1-0 win over previous leaders Lennon. In the day's other game, Holland and Spot Valley ended 3-3.
