Windies hunt ODI Super League points against Kiwis

The West Indies who are in danger of missing out on an automatic spot to the 2023 50-over World Cup, will go hunting for crucial points in the inaugural ICC Super League as they take on New Zealand in the first of three One Day Internationals at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on Wednesday.

With just 80 points from a possible 210, the West Indies are currently sitting 6th on the ICC World Cup Super League table with only the top 7 and host nation India assured of a spot at the showpiece event.

This means the Windies must look to get maximum 30 points from their three games against New Zealand starting on Wednesday and hope that would be good enough to see them securing a place at the World Cup.

Wednesday's day/night encounter starts at 1:00 pm Jamaica time.
