Windies women hoping to avoid ODI series sweep by New Zealand

Voice of West Indies women's vice-captain Shakera Selman

Vice-captain of the West Indies women's team Shakera Selman says the players have identified how they can avoid a series sweep against New Zealand, ahead of Sunday's third and final OFI match in Antigua.

The Windies women trail the series 2-0 after defeats by five runs and two wickets but Selman says the players sensed an opportunity after almost defending 170 on Thursday.

Selman says she is hoping former captain, Jamaican Stafanie Taylor can turn around her batting form that has produced only 18 runs so far.

The match bowls off at 8:30 am Jamaica time.
