World Athletics boss praises Jamaica's high school system

Jamaica's high school track and field system has once again come in for high praise from the president of World athletics Sebastian Coe. Among the post Covid-19 approach to be adopted by track and field's world governing body is a plan to focus on giving more young persons opportunities to access sports and fitness.

Lord Coe who spoke with TVJ Sports in an exclusive interview recently, said the approach to track and field in Jamaican high schools could be used by other countries to enhance their programmes at that level.
