CAC 2000 is reporting a net loss of $176.2 million for the financial year ended October 31, 2025. This compares with a profit of $22.3 million the previous year.
Revenue also declined sharply, falling from 1.2 billion dollars to 753.5 million dollars.
The company has attributed the downturn largely to heavy reliance on government contracts, where payment cycles stretched beyond 300 days.
While the projects were completed and invoices issued, delayed cash collections created liquidity pressures.
CAC 2000 recorded an expected credit loss provision of $98.5 million, reflecting ageing receivables.
According to the company, however, most of the outstanding sums are owed by government entities and are considered recoverable.
