Cargo Handlers has reported strong financial results for 2025, posting net profits of $323.9 million on revenues of just over $481 million.
The listed company says revenue increased by two per cent, driven mainly by higher bulk cargo tonnage and cement distribution.
Operating expenses rose slightly to $304.2 million.
Despite global trade disruptions and the impact of Hurricane Melissa, Cargo Handlers recorded an 18 per cent increase in net profit compared with 2024.
The company also benefited from its 30 per cent investment in Buying House Cement Limited, which contributed nearly $157 million to profits.
Looking ahead, Cargo Handlers says it remains optimistic about future growth, supported by development projects in western Jamaica and ongoing improvements to port infrastructure.
