CIBC Caribbean says 94% of all banking transactions by clients now done online

CIBC Caribbean has reported that 94 per cent of all banking transactions done by its clients are conducted online.
In a release, the company says it is therefore improving its approach to digital banking, with the introduction of a new digital hub called "Ways to Bank".
The platform puts all the bank's digital products in one place.
CIBC says the "Ways to Bank" hub is accessible on both mobile and desktop devices.
Deepa Boucaud, Executive Director in charge of Personal & Business Banking at CIBC Caribbean, says the entity's personal and business banking online, and mobile banking transactions "have increased by 27 per cent since last year".
Corporate online banking transactions have gone up by 11 per cent.
She says, by contrast, over the counter, or in branch, transaction volumes have decreased by 23 per cent year-on-year.
