Earnings from exports in the Agriculture industry increased by 11.4 per cent for 2023.
The Statistical Institute of Jamaica (STATIN) says these exports were valued US$90.6 million.
This was largely due to higher exports of yam, coffee, along with and "animals & fish".
STATIN says yam exports increased by 16.5 per cent, amounting to US$40.8 million.
Coffee exports were to the tune of US$25.2 million, while "animals and fish" rose to US$2.6 million.
