Flow completes removal of its legacy copper network

Flow Jamaica says it has successfully completed the removal of its legacy underground copper network.

The company said that this marks another significant milestone in its transformation of the country's telecommunications infrastructure.

Flow added that the completion of this work will lead to the creation of greater capacity of space to accelerate the placing of its vulnerable aerial fibre transmission underground.

The company also pointed out that this will lead to greater protection of its network against natural disasters and criminal activities.

Vice President and General Manager of Flow Jamaica, Stephen Price, said this milestone represents an important step in the country's broader network resilience strategy.
