Image Plus Consultants has reported a strong start to its 2027 financial year, with revenue and profit surging following the acquisition of island radiology.
Profit before tax more than doubled to $32.8 million, from $13.7 million in the corresponding quarter last year.
The medical imaging company recorded revenue of $351.9 million for the three months ended May 31, an increase of 31.6% from the corresponding period last year.
The company says the growth was driven by increased patient volumes, and contributions from its acquisitions of The Woman's Place, and Island Radiology, which together accounted for more than half the increase in revenue.
Image Plus completed, 17,444 diagnostic imaging cases during the quarter, up nearly 29% from a year earlier.
Image Plus says the acquisition expands its network to eight locations, making it Jamaica's largest provider of diagnostic imaging services.
